Carbon Cloud were delighted to sponsor the Fletching Arrows Kit Car team that competed in the Uckfield Mini Grand Prix on Sunday.
The Mini Grand Prix is contested between 22 teams from Primary Schools across Sussex and the Kit Car Project is designed to give Key Stage 2 pupils a practical challenge for their STEM skills.
The Fletching Arrows team is staffed entirely by the pupils of the School and roles are as diverse as PR Management, Business Management and Fundraising in addition to design and engineering of the car and driving on the day of the races.
The Grand Prix was held in glorious sunshine and the teams had to battle overheating in their driving suits as they raced through two heats and a final.
The kids had a fantastic day and it was a fitting conclusion to the hard work that they had put in to the project.
